Hundreds of birds make their home at Thendara. These include kookaburras, cockatoos, and lorikeets. Lorikeets are the brightly coloured birds found at the Currumbin Bird Sanctuary . The owners of Thendara have fed lorikeets and other birds at the property for nearly a decade. The Currumbin Bird Sanctuary or a local veterinarian can give advice on appropriate feeding for birds found in the wild. |
