How to find the location of Thendara using WhereIs

It may be helpful to print out this page so you can follow the steps as you use WhereIs.

Finding Thendara in WhereIs

1. Open WhereIs by clicking http://whereis.com.au
2. Enter 25 Thendara Drive Mt Nathan Queensland and click Search

You can now see the location of Thendara. Thendara is the land bordered by Clagiraba Road and Thendara Drive roughly to the point where Thendara Drive first meets Clagiraba Creek.

You can see the large park across the creek, and see that the state forest area of Mount Nathan itself overlooks the property. The two entrances (one to the storage shed and horse yards, the other to the house) are in Thendara Drive, about half way along the longer of the two straight sections of Thendara Drive.

You can zoom in and out using the map. Using the interactive map you can see that:

Thendara Drive is a cul-de-sac. So there is no through-traffic going past Thendara.

The area includes large areas of parkland and public open space (shown in green on the maps).

A school bus runs along Clagiraba Road

Thendara has easy access:

1. to Mt Tamborine, Nerang, Canungra, Beaudesert, Advancetown, Beechmont and Mudgeeraba on sealed roads
2. to Brisbane by connecting to the Pacific Highway at Oxenford
3. to the beaches of the Gold Coast through Nerang
4. to Gold Coast airport at Coolangatta on the Pacific Highway that runs through West Burliegh. (The international terminal at the Gold Coast airport opened in July 2000.
